ah, i love the rain!
I just want to write about a happy moment I had yesterday...
So...yesterday it was raining...and i mean legit raining, not the misty stuff we usually have. I decided to go on a walk around the loop. So I set off in my zebra-striped wellies and did not bring an umbrella (umbrellas are for wimps). I jumped in every puddle I saw, and then stopped at a bridge. It was beautiful to watch the raindrops fall onto the glassy surface before becoming the water flowing down the little stream. I just stayed on the bridge and thought/prayed/sang, and then all of a sudden, across the foggy, English countryside came a train!
I don't know...it was just one of those moments where I sat back and thought, "Wow...here I am in England, in the rain, on an adorable bridge, surrounded by pastures full of sheep and stone walls, and now a cute little train is passing!" It made me so happy.
I was definitely soaking wet by the time I made it back to the castle, but it was SO worth it.
go puddle-jumping sometime...without an umbrella.

Oh Sarai this makes me so happy. I HATED rain and cold before heading to England and now, every time it rains, my heart just sings. There is nothing like England rain to really see the incredibly vibrant colours around you. Unbrellas ARE for wimps! Thats what I always tell people too haha. Love you loving England! XOXO
